Building employee management that runs itself

We're a small team taking on billion-dollar incumbents, automating the complexity that others consider impossible to solve.

Our Story

Why we started Warp — and where we're going.

Starting a company is magical — filled with equal parts excitement and nervousness. But no one starts a company to deal with paperwork, payroll, or tax compliance across thousands of jurisdictions.

For decades, the software companies use to run their operations has been stuck in the past. Clunky systems that slow you down, built by incumbents who profit from complexity rather than eliminating it. Even "modern" players are built on the same antiquated approach — throw people at problems instead of truly automating them.

Frustrated with the status quo, we decided to build something insanely great. Something that keeps up with how fast modern companies move. Something that uses AI to handle complexity others consider impossible to solve. We called it Warp to signify speed.

Built for companies that move fast.

Our Values

The principles that guide how we work and what we build.

Action produces information. Even without full conviction, act and learn. Small iteration loops compound to massive advantages. We ask: why can't it be done today instead of tomorrow?

Quality vs. speed is a false dichotomy. People who move fast also produce the highest quality work. No task is trivial, no detail too small. How you do one thing is how you do everything.

Care about outcomes, not just tasks. See the gaps and work to close them. Get things done without waiting for perfect instructions. Owners need minimal management.

Our founding DNA is technical. When faced with a problem, we default to software and automation rather than manual processes. We win by building the most technically superior product.

Warp wouldn't exist without our customers. We fight for them every day. It's not enough that they like our product — they must love it. Anything short of that means there's work to do.
